Description

The project involved the design and testing of the interface for "SpeedyOrder", a secure automated food ordering system. It consisted of a kiosk located at a local Food Court that would allow customers to search for menus based on price or cuisine, browse specials and order food. Upon payment via credit-card / special cards, the order would be transmitted to the respective shop(s). Shops could update item availability in real-time. An administrator would maintain the central database. The system expedited the overall ordering process by shortening queues and reducing "window-shopping".
